Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT) Foundation is a grant-making organization established in 2016 that has successfully supported local, national, and regional non-profit organizations working to address challenges and related vulnerabilities across Africa. ACT Foundation has effectively supported sustainable high-impact initiatives that provide innovative solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges in Africa.

CATALYZING CHANGE: ADVANCING GENDER MAINSTREAMING IN LOCAL NGOS

Today’s multidimensional global problems, including the COVID-19 pandemic, food insecurity, climate emergencies, and the refugee crises, have pushed inequalities to new heights. There is overwhelming evidence that achieving gender equality is integral to all dimensions of sustainable development. It is not only considered a fundamental human right, but is also central to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. This study extensively examined the existing evidence on gender mainstreaming to provide local development actors with best-practice guidance on achieving greater gender equality results in programmes, operations, and organizational culture.

REDUCING NIGERIA’S CANCER BURDEN: A POLICY BRIEF

This policy brief looks at the opportunities for multistakeholder collaboration in fighting the burden of cancer in Nigeria and provides recommendations on how the government, private sector, and civil society can close the care gap across the control continuum.
